What equipments you need for Product Photography?

Product photography is now on boom. With the increasing eCommerce trend, trend for product photography also arises. There are photographers attending the product photography sessions where they learn how to do capture a product image that makes it sell well.

       Important equipment after Camera is a Tripod. Tripods are of high importance to get good quality images when shooting images in the studio. This avoids Camera shake when shooting with slow shutter speeds.

You can leave the camera steady while adjusting the products for photo shoot.  Get sturdy, high quality tripod along with high end camera. Buying expensive products for product photo shoot can give reliability to your e-Commerce photography.

For smart phone users, a smart phone mount is a must.

White Backdrop:

         An important part of product photography apart from Camera and Tripod is White Backdrop. It will reflect the white light back on the product. This feature gives a well lit photo. The photo colours will be accurate.

Sweep is the best kind of backdrop that seamlessly shifts from vertical to horizontal surface. For shooting larger products such as mannequin or model clothing or furniture, a large sweep with a stand is required.

For small products, shooting table is sufficient.

Lighting:

     Natural lighting is the best as it is easier to work with especially when your photographer is handling its first product photography project. To step ahead, artificial lighting is must to give a try.
